We strive for Carbon Neutrality

At Ecosave, we believe personally in energy and water conservation as a way to help our environment and community as a whole.  So, as a company, we actively pursue several measures to help play our part in conserving resources.

Some of these measures are small, others more substantial, but they remind us every day of our commitment to energy and water conservation.  And we believe that if we each do our own small part in fighting to save our planet, the combination of all our efforts will make a real, substantial difference for the world our children and their children will live in.

Some examples of the things we do on a daily basis are:

1. We donate a tree for every ton of CO₂ and 100 kilolitres of water saved by clients' projects

2. Wherever possible we use recycled materials in our office
    - We even buy our stationery from a company that has achieved certification ISO:14001 
            for Environmental Management.
    - We print on recycled paper
    - Our Christmas cards are printed on recycled paper and a percentage of the cost is donated to 
            a humanitarian organization
    - Our uniforms are made from hemp

3. Wherever possible we recycle all our office consumables
    - We recycle the paper and cardboard we use
    - We recycle our toner cartridges and any redundant office equipment

4. We try every day to be Carbon Neutral
    - The CO₂ created by our cars and air travel is offset on a yearly basis
    - Our fleet is made up of small and fuel efficient cars
    - We have installed all appropriate energy and water conservation solutions in our offices
    - We use Green Energy to reduce our CO₂ emissions

We donate 5% of our profits to charity

Ecosave also believe that we should take an active role in our community as a whole, and should make a consistent effort to help those organisations which are helping our communities to thrive and grow.  

For this reason, every year we also donate 5% of our company profits to humanitarian organizations chosen by our team, each one of whom is passionate about a cause dear to their hearts.  In this way, we support the wishes of our employees, and the charities they support.
